CHILDREN & TEENS HEALTH
Supporting Babies, Toddlers, Children and Teens Health.
Your Consultation
By working through your child/teens case history – listening, and asking questions related to what they are doing now, and importantly what their diet and lifestyle has been – we are able to see a bigger picture of their overall health. This is what makes our approach fully individualised.
Food & Mood Diary
Honest information about what your child or teen currently eats daily, and how they feel after a meal – including their sleep patterns each night – are vital in understanding their health when their case is reviewed.
Please click below and fill in at least 3-4 days of the Food & Mood diary prior to their appointment.
We Can Help Support All Ages in your Family
Let us give you the knowledge to kick-start your family's health. We have a range of options that are gentle for helping smaller bodies, or for your older teens – ideas and tests that can help you get them on track for being healthy now and well into their future.
Blood Test &
Medication List
Blood tests are important along side of your child/teens case history, so please bring any copies taken within the last 6-12 months, and a list of current medications and/or over-the-counter products they take.
It will be important to get more bloods done in the future.
Existing blood tests can be requested through your GP's clinic front desk (sometimes a small charge to have them printed).
In the future, we can work with your child/teens GP to possibly get new bloods, OR we can give you a form to take to your local PathLab.
Email them to:
info@thegoodhealthroom.co.nz
If this is difficult to do, then please book and we can discuss more at your appointment.

"We need to encourage our kids to love to eat real food – honest, nutritious, healthy food. Less fast food. Less junk food. And they need to see us eating healthy by example."
